
School Uniform
The purpose of a School-wide DRESS CODE is to establish a School environment that supports a productive, academic atmosphere which supports Students’ learning and reflects the educational values of the staff and the parents.
The School uniform is obligatory on all School days and official functions. It is the duty of the parents / guardians to see that the Student comes to School neatly dressed in the prescribed uniform.
Normal uniform on all the weekdays except Saturday.
House dress on all Saturdays.
During winter season, the Students must wear navy blue sweater with full sleeves.
School blazer is compulsory for the classes VI to X.

The length of the uniform should be till the Knee. Hair should be neatly cross plaited with white ribbons. White socks and white canvas shoes with lace. Boys (I to V) House T-Shirt with white short, White socks and white canvas shoes with lace. Boys(VI to X) House T-Shirt with white trousers, White socks and white canvas shoes with lace. HAIR STYLE: Hairstyle shall be treated as part of School Uniform. Elaborate / fashionable hairstyles are strictly not allowed. Boys: Crew cut Girls: Hair should be neatly cross plaited with black ribbons, short hair-pony tail with black ribbons, bob cut hair – black hair band. Girls must wear slips and blue tights as applicable to their uniform . Boys must have their hair cut every month. GENERAL RULES: Nails should be cleaned and trimmed. Children are not allowed to wear jewellery or any valuables. All boys must wear white vests under the shirt. Shoes must be clean and neatly polished. Mehandi should not be applied. Bands of any sort should not be tied to the wrists. Expensive jewellery or anklets of any sort is NOT allowed. The School is NOT responsible for the loss of the same. USE OF ENGLISH The School’s official language is English. Every student should communicate only in English in the school premises. HOUSES: The school house system at St. Pious X School, ICSE, helps to teach children the value of teamwork and good behavior.
