Curricular:
All subjects as per syllabus and additional subjects such as Computers, SUPW, Moral Science, Singing, and Games etc.
Clubs:The high section students are grouped according to their interests and abilities.
Aim:To enable the students to think correctly and apply the problem-solving phenomena to daily life.
Activities:Organizing quiz and debates. Preparation of charts, models and albums.
Science Club / NGC Aim:To enable the students to analyses the problems scientifically and understand them in order to solve the problems in everyday life.
Activities:Organizing debates, elocution, quiz and observation based on science. Preparation of scrap books improvised apparatus, releasing science magazines and organizing a mini science exhibition. Participate in Science fairs at all levels.
Social Studies Club: Aim:To develop a healthy attitude towards one's life and that of others and to promote the national and international interests of the students.
Activities:Debates, quiz in general knowledge and collection of important day-to-day events. To organize an exhibition displaying models, projects, charts and albums,
Social Service club: Aim:To develop values of concern for others, generosity and fellow feelings.
Activities:Visits to orphanages, homes for street children, special schools, home for the Aged etc.
YCS/ YSM:These are the youth movements to form leaders of our Country. Middle school girls join the juniors’ movements and high school section girls join the seniors' movements.
NCC National Cadet Corps:Students who are willing may join this movement from class VIII.
NIE:Newspaper in Education
Aim:Promote learning through fun and learning for life.
Activities:Use of 'Times of India' Newspapers for developing language skills, weekly workshops by consultants, competitions for literary / cultural growth.
PTA:Welfare Committee of Parent Teachers' Association
Aim :To provide a platform for interaction between management, staff and parents for all round and healthy development of children.
Activities :Executive committee meetings, general body meetings to ensure that problems faced by students and teachers are sorted out and enhance student growth positively.
Alumni Association (Former students Association) Aim :To give opportunity to ex-students to meet and interact, thus creating a strong bond between Students and their Alma Mater.
Activities :Exchange of Ideas, sharing of resources, organising workshops or guest talks for students and keeping in touch with the school.
The Government directs that the following vacations and holidays be observed throughout the State in a year, subject to the condition that it does not result in the reduction in the number of working days prescribed in a year.
1. All educational institutions shall be closed on the days declared as Government holidays by the Government.
2. The heads of schools are permitted to declare upto a maximum of five optional holidays as holidays in a calendar year.
3. The heads of schools are permitted to give discretionary holidays, not exceeding three in a school year for any local festival or other occasion in the context of local conditions,
4. The school shall be closed for a period of 10 days for the midterm holidays commencing on Mahalaya Amavasya and ending with Vijayadasami.
5. The school shall be closed for a period of ten days for children for Christmas holidays.
6. The school shall be closed for summer vacation for a period of seven weeks.
