No School however good and no teacher however well-meaning can hope to achieve anything without the backing and cooperation of a good home.
1. The parents and guardians are earnestly requested:
(a) To take an active interest in their children's progress in studies throughout the school year, and not just before the final examination. They should sign the Children's progress report and initial other remarks in their School calendar, as an indication that they have read them carefully and will attend to weakness, if any, without delay.
(b) To see that their children devote sufficient time to study at home every day and do the home work assigned to them regularly.
2. They should see that their children attend School punctually and regularly.
3. They should co-operate with the school authorities in encouraging their children to take part in various School and inter-school activities.
4. Parents and guardians should see that their children do not have money or valuable articles with them.
5. A student suffering from a contagious or an infectious disease will not be allowed to attend the class. After being cured, such a student must bring the Doctor's Certificate to sit in the class.
6. Any communication (request or complaint) made by parents or guardians should be addressed to the Headmistress and not to the teachers. Permission is also required from the Headmistress to meet the teachers.
7. The engagement of private tutors whether of the school staff or not, is not recommended as it may prove injurious to the real progress of the student. It should not be done except in consultation with the Headmistress. If tuition is really necessary it should be given from the beginning of the year and not just before the exam.
8. Only Parents/ guardians are permitted to represent their problems individually to the H.M.
9. A student who breaks School Rules or commits any act of indiscipline, may be punished at the discretion of the H.M. A student may be sent home during class hours for failure to comply with the School regulations.
10. Parents and guardians are welcome to consult the H.M. and teachers regarding their child whenever necessary. The H.M. may be seen in the office on School days from 9-15 a.m. to 10-30 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Teachers should be seen with the prior permission of the H.M., not during class hours but during their free periods or during the breaks. Hence as far as possible appointment with teachers should be arranged before hand. Parents should also meet teachers on second Saturdays of the Month between 9-00 a.m. and 12 noon.
11. Parents or Guardians are not allowed to call their children to the phone or to see them during class hours. Permission is to be obtained from the H.M. in unavoidable cases.
- Students will not be permitted to carry/use mobiles in the premises for any reason.
- A student absent for more than three days should / must provide the medical certificate on the reporting day.
- Without prior permission / written application, leave for any purpose will not be granted.
- All leave applications must be signed by parent / guardian
- All competitions will be conducted / held / organized during school hours only.
- Information regarding extra classes / inter school sports / literally / cultural competitions will be intimated from time to time,
- It is mandatory for students to be in school uniform for all school- related events / extra-curricular events outside the school.
- Students violating any rules/guidelines/instructions provided by the management will be warned once. If repeated, they will be suspended from attending school for a week / fortnight and finally removed from the rolls.
- Any additions / changes etc., are completely at the discretion of the management.
